Some have rose colored glasses
This is a terrible second set with a phoned in performance. Set 1 does have some energy but it is all gone by set 2. Do not waste your time even in the bad era of 1994-95 you can find some gems this show does not really offer any. If I had to say best songs of Night it would be the Stranger and thats it really. Having relistened the first set is solid set two is terrible, easily among the worst set 2 ever played with Jerry.

Crazy crazy night
I missed the opening with the banner got to the seats just in time for the music to start. The sound was good and the band was "HOT" the energy was electric and you knew from the start it was going to be a good night. Jerry in shorts!!!! One of my top 5 shows, wish I could go into detail but its been 16 years. Saw this morning that they brought the old girl down had to find this show "GOD Bless the Grateful Dead"

50th anniversary at spectrum
I was lucky enough to score 2nd row seats for this memorable concert.local
dj pierre robert intro. the concert and promised a a good one and the boys didnt dissapoint. the sugaree was one of the best of the tour and we were treated to a rockin corrina and what sounded like a matilda jam. also a beautiful version of That would be someting and the dew finished off a stellar show. a must have for your spectrum collection.

Great show indeed!
And now, goodbye to the Spectrum, or as some folks called it, the 'Rectum'...because of it's crappy hockey rink sound. However; there's no doubt that we in Philly loved the Grateful Dead, AND that the Grateful Dead loved us right back!
The Spectrum comes down at the end of this month October 2009.

Can't believe no one's reviewed this
Both sources for this show are excellent, but this one really stands out for clarity and up front sound, with enough crowd for the "live" sound but never in your face. It really sounds like one of the Healy matrixes of old. Downloading as soon as I finish this review. :-)
